Robert Kaley's Pup (electric, with engine soundtrack) takes off, gets the windsock blues and won't turn, thoughtfully hits the road rather than damaging any trees...easy to transport afterwards:
Stan's Hurricane works on its all-over-tan after wowing the crowd:
Zoren Dimovski needed some exercise....
from early 80s (approx). Noel Wilson (ex President) had a Byron Pitts, all foam and I think a Quadra. It crashed. That's Noel crouching! He burnt it (no, no, no - you can't do this any more - Ed) and in the crowd (from left to right) David Wilson (sadly passed away recently), Vince Pon (in the smoke) John Piggott (also departed) and Wal van Heekeren (silver smith, maker of strange planes and the club Scale Trophy)
31/8/10 - Brian's use of a lomcevac as a recovery technique from inverted doesn't really work. Lomcevac roughly translates as 'hangover'...apt indeed. 15th Jan 2011 - Grant's lovely Neptune does a bit of a bouncy landing...but you'll have to go [HERE] for the video and pics! 2nd April 2011 - Watch the video to see why Clive picks his glider out of the trees....
Dave's hat gets sucked into the prop whilst he is standing safely BEHIND the motor that he was test-running. Nothing that a bit of glue won't put right

Scale day 2011 - part 2 - Andrew displays his cunning design for a foldable Extra...
Scale day 2011 - part 3 - Clive salvages his Moth after it had its bottom "nipped" by a pup...

Mr Minty's pre-combat damage
"Here's something for the crash bucket. I bought this profile "Thunderbolt" (?) at the last T&T and fixed it up for combat day. I test flew it with an OS75 and it flew well. Then on the last approach a loooong way out it spiralled in and vanished! I'm still not sure why but I set out to search - no sign. Then we had the w/e of heavy rain! On the following Tuesday another 1.5 hrs found it - the picture tells the story. Mike"
Luskintyre A rare opportunity to see the cockpit detailing on Col's Storch:
Whilst David contemplates his Chilton (re)kit:
Raven Andrew Yu "maidened" his ex eBay Raven with an ex Black Fingernail OS 55. It was a funny weather day with a strange light that made it tricky to see the planes clearly but it flew quite well. On his first landing approach he lost orientation a long way out and finished up hitting a tree .......hard! It will not be flying again! Thanks to Baz Campbell for circling the tree with his Comet - it meant it only took 2 hours to find it despite being able to see it from the pits.
Keep 'em coming.
