Hitec 635 servos

Postby cbuckley » 20 Apr 2009, 12:31

There seems to be an inherent problem with these carbonite geared servos. To see all the chat about them..Google "Hitec 635 servo problems".

It seems these so-called heavy duty servos are not cutting the mustard. We have a member that has stripped three of these servos already, two just taxiing.

Would be interested to hear comments from other members.

Hi, Colin the answer is go metal gears, i only use carbonite on low load items, ie. throttle, retract valves and such.
