The above is why I use a remote ignition kill on my plane. I got to use it once, when the throttle servo mount vibrated apart and I had no throttle control. I think they are a good idea in a large aircraft that affords just that little bit extra control should something go wrong. Not saying everyone must fly with one, it just works well for me.

Cant wait to see it in the air lonz! Maybe if I ever get to the field... :roll:

The great LONZO.

I like to take a short length of copper wire, salvaged from a household power cable and wrap it twice around any brass tubing that I plan to mate with Tygon. I solder it in place which creates a nice flare for the zip tie to hold on to. No tygon or other will slip! I think you can buy (dubro) solder-on ferrules for this purpose, but the wire stuff suits me well as the wife only complains when she finds her microwave oven power cable shredded. :D

How many servos are you running with your 3A BEC? seems a little light-on for a model of this size?
