Hosted at the Gloucester Airfield, we shared the airspace with the local Aero Club ... Gloucester's small band of model flyer/s welcomed the WRCS flyers and spouses Tom Sparkes flew his P-51 Mustang 'Big Beautiful Doll' but had landing problems Peter Papas did aerobatics with his Pitts Special (before he wiped it out ... R.I.P.) ... and Dennis Grech impressed the crowd and flyers alike with the Stuka Peter Papas demonstrated the power of his turbine jet with a bit of taxiing ... in the meantime Tom Wolf got some valuable experience ... and the ladies enjoyed a bit of shade ... and the Saturday night gathering was great fun Sunday saw the ladies enjoying a game of Bocce Chris Hebbard demonstrated his jet turbine with a spectacular flight that delighted the crowd ... while the rest of the guys took refuge in the shade of the hangar
