Super Storm over WRCS.

Report, Photos & Video: Kevin Einstein

Headed off to the field on Wed arvo (30th March 2011). Was blue skies & after my first flight noticed this black cloud coming in from the west. It looked like a giant alien creature that wanted to devour us! Then it started to drizzle. Next thing we knew the wind hit us bringing in a massive shower with lightning, thunder, hail, heck the whole bible! The rain nearly flooded the pits. We waited out while the guys had a beer or two. In a hour it was blue skies again! And that arvo was one of the calmest conditions we flew in for ages.
