This video was recorded with a FlyCam3 on Stephen MacMahon's EasyStar (03/04/2010).

The goal was to get some video of our field including the pitts. For this Stephen had to fly relatively low over the pitts area and when the wind picked up his low powered EasyStar got into trouble and did an unplanned "landing" in (or better above) the car park.

If you are not paitent enough to watch through the full video, start at about 2min 20sec to watch the "landing".

Note: We obviously do not normally fly over the pitts (for exact these reasons) but the ony two other people present were aware and agreed to the video flight!

Maiden flight of Stephen MacMahon's F-18. This is a foamy powered by a 90mm EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) running on 8cell LiPos. Max power is about 2.8kW!
Too small and fast for video so you'll see take off, landing and a lot of blue sky (14/08/2010).
