Warringah Radio Control Society Incorporated (Incorporated under the Association Incorporation Act 1984)   Flying Proficiency Examination for "Gold Wings"

The following Flying Proficiency Examination must be completed under the supervision of an aproved MAAA R/C Pilot Instructor and is subject to the General Notes set out below.

Instructions:

Each numbered item below is to be demonstrated to an approved MAAA R/C Pilot Instructor who, upon completion of demonstration, will complete the certificate section.

1. Pre-Flight Training, as follows;
1. Dexterity of Pilot with his/her equipment.
2. Theoretical knowledge.
3. Pre-flight checks.
NOTE:    This item must be completed before flying
2. Start-up, taxi and take-off positioning.
3. Take-off.
4. Outward figure of eight, left to right.
5. Outward figure of eight, right to left.
6. Inward figure of eight, left to right.
7. Inward figure of eight, right to left.
8. Procedure turn, 90⁰to 270⁰, left to right.
9. Procedure turn, 90⁰to 270⁰, right to left.
10. Immelman turn, left to right.
11. Immelman turn, right to left.
12. Cuban eight, left to right.
13. Cuban eight, right to left.
14. Spin, three turns
15. Inverted flight, left to right.
16. Inverted flight, right to left.
17. Three horizontal rolls, left to right.
18. Three horizontal rolls, right to left.
19. Landing circuit, left to right.
20. Landing circuit, right to left.
