Velcro hook and eye tape (especially the type with a self-adhesive backing) is the ideal way to mount battery packs in fuselages. Wrap the pack in foam as usual. Stick a short length of hook tape on the outside of the sock and a corresponding lengths of eye tape on the fuselage floor where  you want the battery pack to sit. Holds it securely yet the two parts of the tape can easily be parted when you want to remove it. Works just as well for receivers too, but not recommended for mounting servos.
