It’s amazing the number of members (usually newcomers to the hobby) who bring along aircraft to the field without keepers on the clevises. Clevises can open accidentally causing loss of control and an almost certain crash. Quite often keepers aren’t supplied with clevises in kits. Make your own - just slice 5 mm lengths from a piece of silicon fuel tubing. Slide one on to each clevis before connecting to its horn then slide it up to the pin so the clevis can’t snap open of its own accord.
