There will be a full scale day report coming from Mike Minty, and we have some lovely photos arriving for the gallery. More on that later in the week, I hope, and we'll add to it as new material arrives.

Mike's report will carry all the results, so I won't steal his thunder, but I did just want to put out my thanks to a few groups:

1. To ALL the competitors - we had almost 40 entries, and some huge scores, with particular mention to Simon, Doug, Stan and Ron - beautiful aircraft and evocative flying, but to all the competitors for making a special effort to participate. You made it a special day
2. The pilot's choice, this time, worthy of mention of Simon, Col S, Doug and Ron - deservedly all getting strong support in the voting
3. To the three judges - Peter Wyss, David Cotton and Stephen MacMahon - who stayed the entire course for the whole day and submitted excellent and accurate scoresheets
4. To Brian Addison who, in my opinion, ran an exemplary and safe flight line
5. To all the guys who look after the field - Col, Grant, Ron, Brian A, Brian P and others I may have missed
6. To Peter, Stephen and Mark for entertaining us with skydivers and towing during the lunch break
7. To the ladies and gents who looked after the catering - Sandra and Des, Claire and Col, Deepna - great provisions as always
8. To Robert Kaley - who has already sent me some great pictures. I can't get them loaded today, but I've put one below, to set the scene!
