An excellent Scale Day on 23rd November 2014. Lots of great aircraft and flying, and not much in the way of carnage. Mike Minty has written up the report. Click HERE to download it for reading.

The final scores have been tallied up for 2014 and the results page is at this LINK.

You can also see the results from previous years on our Honour Role at this LINK.

Congratulations to Mike Minty for winning the Club Champion position (again!!!) and to David Foster for achieving Runner-Up this year after his win last year. These two gentlemen are consistent - always taking part if they can. As Gary Player once said - "The harder I practice, the luckier I get".

Thanks are due to everyone that took part in, or supported, our events during the year. A special mention to David Pound, our long-suffering contest director, who ensures smooth running, trophies, scoring etc, and to all our judges, catering volunteers and everyone that throws their effort into helping make our events fun for everyone.

The Spring Scale Day is Sunday 16th November. Flying will be from 9am (practice) and the competition flying will commence after pilot briefing at 9:30am. During the lunch break, there will be a Tiger/Scanner pylon racing event.

You can download the entry form for scale, ready for printing, by clicking HERE, which will give you time to print it and complete it in advance. There will be copies at the event if you aren't able to do this. You don't need an entry form for the tiger event. The competition details are at this LINK.

We're shortly going to be launching an upgraded website, and will be taking photos and video at scale day to load onto the new site.

If you have a scale aircraft of any size, and/or a tiger or scanner with a 46 or smaller IC engine, please come along and take part in the fun, or even just put your aircraft out for static display if it isn't going to be flying on the day.

We're hoping for a very good turnout!

Thanks

Clive
